Fine Art Baby Photography

Newborn baby photo sessions are best photographed during the first 7-14 days following your baby’s birth, or between 10-16 weeks. The “best” time for your newborn photography session really depends on what look it is your hoping to achieve and also how you’re feeling following your delivery: Some things to consider; are you looking for true “newborn” photos, where your baby is still curled up, very small, and often asleep? Or would you prefer photographs of your baby with more facial expressions, eyes that can follow the camera, etc… Please call for my complete overview of “pros and cons” related to the right time for baby photographs.

Following your photography session, Rob reviews all of the images from the shoot and carefully chooses a selection of the best images to be individually cropped, color corrected, and retouched before being presented to the client. This selection of edited images is shown in Color, B&W as well as Sepia Tone.

You’ll view the edited images two ways in order to make your final print selections. Clients are presented contact sheets for physical viewing and a compact disc for viewing on their home or office computer. Please note that while the images on the disc are high resolution, they are copyrighted and for viewing purposes only.

Always respectful of my client’s busy schedules, varied commitments and let’s face it, lack of sleep, new parents are given 3 full months in order to review their images for final print choices.

Copyright free archive DVDs with high resolution TIFF and JPEG files of all edited photographs are available for purchase.

   

Fine Art Newborn Photography Session Fees

Newborn Baby Sessions are $525 on weekdays and include three 5"x7" photos printed on 8"x10" Fine Art Paper.

Weekend Newborn and Baby Photography sessions are $600.  Package includes the Fine Art Prints listed above.

Maternity & Newborn Photography Package: Fine Art Newborn sessions are $350 for clients who purchased a Maternity session, photographed during their pregnancy.  This reduced rate is for weekday sessions and includes the Fine Art prints listed above.  Weekend sessions are $425.
